Anti Wear Bends

Anti Wear Bends are designed from cast 316 Stainless Steel and are designed to last up to 10 times longer than normal Stainless Steel bends. They are popular with our customers who’s piping systems plastics pellets grains that are typically abrasive such as Akulon, Makrolon or Glass Filled Nylon . The bends work by creating a void which causes the product being conveyed to wear against itself as oppose to the bend. Direct Engineering have installed these bends Nationwide helping our customers avoid costly downtime and material waste whilst improving reliability and efficiency. Our Anti-Wear Bends can be adapted on request to fit most tube sizes 40mm and upwards however due to high levels of demand we manufacture certain sizes as standard.
